Hello! I am   Dr. Sumaya humaidan 

I would like to congratulate you for taking a step closer towards your healing and recovery today. As the founder of Head & Heart psychotherapy and counseling centre I believe that offering you a safe, confidential, and holding space is key factor to empower you overcome rough patches in your path! I am not here to tell what to do, but to help you discover your strengths and connect with your inner wisdom that knows exactly how to guide your path. I am humbled to journey alongside and facilitate, assist, and witness your growth and change. Some useful facts about are:

• I am a medical graduate and my therapy practice is informed by humanistic- client centered approach and mainly gestalt therapy I specialize in working with clients who suffer from anxiety, depression, trauma and body image issues.

• I am also an avid academic and have many publications in the area of personality and eating disorders as well as post-modern approaches to working with child abuse and trauma.
